Founded in 1902 in Mendoza, Argentina, Catena Zapata has led the transformation of South American winemaking. Under the leadership of Nicolás Catena and Dr. Laura Catena, the winery pioneered high-altitude viticulture and elevated Malbec to global recognition. Their scientific approach to terroir, vine selection, and aging has positioned Catena Zapata as a benchmark of quality and innovation on the international wine stage.

– Guided tasting of five single-vineyard expressions of Malbec from Catena’s high-altitude vineyards
